2. Hosting

This website is hosted on a server by Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany). Access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested page, browser) are stored for technical reasons and deleted after 7 days. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation).

3. Email Notifications

Loui sends transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, project invitations) via Resend (Resend Inc., 2261 Market Street, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA). The data processed includes your email address and name. Resend is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision per Art. 45 GDPR). Email logs are retained by Resend for 30 days.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).

4. Pro Waitlist

The "Notify me" form lets you leave your email address (required) and optionally a name to be informed when Loui Pro launches. Submission happens server-side to the Loui API – not directly from the browser. The data is used solely for the Pro launch notification and is not shared with third parties.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measure taken at the data subject's request).

5. Cookies & Local Storage

Loui stores your privacy consent in your browser's localStorage (not a cookie). This data remains on your device and is never transmitted.

6. Google Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to analyse website usage. Google Analytics uses cookies and transfers usage data to Google servers, including the US (basis: Standard Contractual Clauses per Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).

IP anonymisation is enabled. No personal data is combined with other Google services.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
